Formula |
- Acetyl-L-Carnitine Arginate and Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) support the mitochondrial production of energy. Acetyl-L-Carnitine is found in most cells in the body, including brain, nerve, heart, liver and sperm cells, where it participates within the mitochondria in metabolizing fatty acids into energy. Alpha Lipoic Acid is a water- and lipid-soluble antioxidant required by the pyruvate dehydrogenase complex (within the mitochondrial matrix), which is the nexus between glycolysis and the Krebs or TCA (energy) cycle. Acetyl L-Carnitine Arginate and Alpha Lipoic Acid work synergistically as antioxidants.
