The evidence supporting these ingredients is limited. For theacrine, we don't have reliable data yet on whether it boosts athletic performance, brain function, fatigue, alertness, or muscle strength — effectiveness hasn't been established in our data.
Wasabi extract likewise lacks solid evidence for osteoporosis, heart disease, chronic fatigue, indigestion, or fatigue relief. Cuprous niacin is likely effective for copper deficiency, but for Alzheimer's disease it's rated possibly ineffective; other uses like acne or chemotherapy-related anemia don't have enough evidence.

How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Theacrine is generally well tolerated in short-term studies, but long-term safety isn't established — if you're taking it regularly, that's something to keep an eye on. Wasabi extract is safe in food amounts, but supplement-strength doses haven't been well studied.
A small trial using 1000–2000 mg daily for 4 weeks reported a couple of cases of protein in urine, one case of mildly elevated liver enzymes, and one case of ketone bodies in urine; these are uncommon but worth knowing. Copper is needed in pregnancy and lactation, but stay within recommended amounts and avoid high-dose supplements without medical guidance — excess copper can be toxic.
Rarely, copper can cause contact dermatitis. No adverse effects are documented for theacrine, and we hold no safety data for Pyrroloquinoline Quinone Disodium Salt or Yuth.

Theacrine
Cns Depressants
Theoretically, theacrine might alter the effects of CNS depressants.
Animal research shows that low doses of theacrine have sedating effects, whereas high doses might have stimulant effects. Depending on the dose of theacrine used, it might increase or decrease the effects of CNS depressants. However, these effects have not yet been reported in humans.
Wasabi Extract
Anticoagulant/Antiplatelet Drugs
Theoretically, wasabi might increase the risk of bleeding with anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs.
In vitro research shows that 6-(methylsulfinyl) hexyl isothiocyanate, a constituent of wasabi, inhibits platelet aggregation.
Cuprous Niacin
Penicillamine (Cuprimine, Depen)
Theoretically, taking copper with penicillamine might decrease the absorption of penicillamine; separate dosing by at least 2 hours.
Copper chelates penicillamine, which decreases its absorption and may reduce its clinical effects.
Contraceptive Drugs
Theoretically, taking copper with contraceptive drugs might increase the levels and toxic effects of copper.
A meta-analysis of clinical studies suggests that chronic use of oral contraceptives increases serum copper levels by a mean of 57 mcg/dL. In most people, this resulted in levels above the normal reference range for copper.
