What’s inside
Full disclosure
This product contains one active ingredient: biotin, a B vitamin your body uses to process proteins, fats, and carbohydrates. You're getting 10,000 micrograms (mcg) per softgel.
The softgel itself is made with soybean oil, gelatin, glycerin, yellow beeswax, and titanium dioxide—these are inactive ingredients that hold and deliver the biotin.
Does it work?
Strong evidence
Biotin is likely effective for biotin deficiency, the condition it's most commonly used to treat. For other uses—alopecia areata (patchy hair loss), seborrheic dermatitis (a scaly skin condition), and multiple sclerosis—the evidence isn't strong enough to say it works.
Alopecia areata especially has insufficient reliable evidence to rate.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Biotin is generally well tolerated, even at higher doses, because your body excretes what it doesn't use in urine. High-dose biotin has rarely been associated with mild diarrhea.
One case report linked high-dose biotin to a serious lung condition, but that patient was also taking other supplements and medications, so it's unclear what actually caused it—and no similar cases have been reported since. If you're pregnant or breastfeeding, normal dietary and supplement amounts of biotin are considered likely safe.
That said, this product delivers a high dose (10,000 mcg), so talk with your doctor before taking it during pregnancy or while nursing.

Scorecard at a glanceFully disclosed formula with clinical evidence supporting its stated purpose. No medication interactions are currently documented, and safety information is well characterized.
This supplement makes sense if you have a biotin deficiency or want to try biotin for hair or skin concerns, though the evidence for those uses is weak. Because this is a high dose, check with your doctor or pharmacist first if you're pregnant, breastfeeding, or have any health concerns.
