HelloPharmacist Scorecard of Branched Chain Amino Acids by ProCaps
Four independent checks of what is known — a summary of the available information, not a grade of the product itself.
By FDA rules, dietary supplements can’t claim to treat, cure, or prevent disease — so labels speak in careful marketing language. We discern each product’s intended use from its name, label claims, and label statements, then grade the clinical evidence for that use. How these ratings are computed
None of the active ingredients could be matched to our evidence database, so intended use can't be graded.
Why this rating?
- None of the active ingredients could be matched to a HelloPharmacist monograph, so intended use can't be graded against our evidence data.
Most active ingredients don't disclose an individual amount — you can't tell how much of each you're getting.
Why this rating?
- The label discloses an exact amount for 0 of its 3 active ingredients.
- “Branched-Chain Amino Acid Complex” is a proprietary blend — the label gives one combined amount (450 mg) without saying how much of each component you get.
None of the active ingredients could be matched to our interaction database.
Why this rating?
- We couldn't match any ingredient to a HelloPharmacist monograph, so there was nothing to check interactions against.
None of the active ingredients could be matched to our safety data.
Why this rating?
- We couldn't match any ingredient to a HelloPharmacist monograph, so there was no safety data to measure.

Formula
Leucine Isoleucine Valine
Branched Chain Amino Acids provides a pure, free-form source of the three essential Branched Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs): Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine. These three essential constituents of protein cannot be produced by the body and are only available from high quality protein-rich foods or dietary supplements. This formula provides all of the BCAAs in their purest and most easily absorbed “free” form. The BCAAs are required for the structure, function and maintenance of all muscle tissue and vital organs. BCAAs are the first choice of athletes, since the unique biochemistry of these amino acids enhances protein synthesis in muscle tissue and the liver, while also promoting muscle strength, endurance and recovery, as well as enhanced physical performance. BCAAs act as an important source of energy for muscle during prolonged exercise, especially during periods of stress. BCAAs support immune system function and are readily utilized to create important nonessential amino acids, such as glutamine, which supports fat metabolism and intestinal health. Our Branched Chain Amino Acids formula provides a pure, hypoallergenic and easy-to-absorb source of the essential BCAAs.
