Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Full disclosure
This product contains 4 active ingredients. Lactoferrin is a protein found naturally in milk that's possibly helpful for sepsis and pregnancy-related iron deficiency.
Colostrum is the nutrient-rich first milk mammals produce after birth. Olive leaf extract comes from the leaf of the olive plant.
IGF-1 (insulin-like growth factor 1) is a naturally occurring growth hormone. The capsule itself contains gelatin, vegetable magnesium stearate, and silica as inactive ingredients.
Does it work?
Moderate evidence
The evidence is mixed and mostly thin. Lactoferrin is possibly effective for sepsis and pregnancy-related iron deficiency, but appears likely ineffective for reducing fetal and premature infant death or necrotizing enterocolitis (a serious intestinal condition in newborns).
Olive leaf extract has insufficient evidence to rate it for any of its proposed uses—osteoporosis, indigestion, exercise-related respiratory infections, shingles, flu, and osteoarthritis. The effectiveness data we hold doesn't cover colostrum or IGF-1.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Lactoferrin is generally well tolerated at typical doses, but long-term safety data are limited. At higher doses of 7.2 grams daily, some people report constipation, diarrhea, loss of appetite, and fatigue.
In newborns, rare cases of jaundice, bloody stool, bowel obstruction, and intestinal perforation have been reported. Olive leaf extract seems well tolerated, though headache and stomach discomfort are the most common reported side effects.
One person in a trial reported acne. Olive tree pollen can trigger seasonal allergies in sensitive people.
Safety data for concentrated olive supplements are less studied than for olives and olive oil as food.

The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFully disclosed formula with some supporting evidence behind its ingredients' uses. No medication interactions are currently documented, and safety information is well characterized.
If you're looking at this for general immune or digestive support, the evidence is weak or unknown. Lactoferrin has a narrow evidence base for sepsis and pregnancy-related anemia under medical supervision.
Before you start—especially if you're pregnant, breastfeeding, or on medications—talk with your pharmacist or doctor about whether this product is right for you.
