General Statements
- Description: Elevated cortisol levels in the athlete are known to break down muscle tissue via inhibiting muscle protein synthesis. CortSTAT by San is a bona fide new formula that supports the maintenance of muscle tissue post-workout. Very recent research has shown that lowered levels of cortisol enable greater amino acid utilization for enhanced nitrogen retention, glycogen synthesis and protein synthesis.
