Low disclosure
DGST-P contains eight active enzymes designed to aid digestion. Protease breaks down protein, lipase breaks down fat, lactase breaks down milk sugar (lactose), and amylase breaks down carbohydrates — these four are the workhorses.
You also get invertase, glucoamylase, hemicellulase, and diastase, which help with other carbohydrate breakdown. The powder also contains agave inulin as an inactive ingredient.

How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Protease and lipase are generally well tolerated but may cause digestive upset or allergic reactions in some people. Lactase is generally well tolerated when used as directed.
Rarely, occupational exposure to airborne protease has triggered asthma or allergic rhinitis in workers, though that's a different exposure than taking a supplement. During pregnancy, protease safety hasn't been established and is best avoided unless prescribed.
Lipase and lactase have limited pregnancy data — check with your doctor first. For breastfeeding, there's little data on protease and lipase; lactase is likely safe.
A case of contact dermatitis and allergic rhinitis from powdered lactase exposure in a worker has been reported.
