This product contains 14 active ingredients—a mix of individual enzymes and proprietary blends designed to help break down different food components. Lactase splits milk sugar (lactose), lipase breaks down fats, and multiple forms of protease work on proteins.
The blends target carbohydrates and starches (through amylase and glucoamylase), sugars and dairy, fats and seeds, fiber and legumes, and green plants. Phytase and alpha-galactosidase help with plant-based foods.
You'll also find cellulase, hemicellulase, invertase, and beta glucanase to round out carbohydrate digestion. The inactive ingredients—microcrystalline cellulose, rice flour, magnesium stearate, and cellulose—are fillers and binders in the capsule.

Strong evidence
The evidence for these enzymes is mixed. Lactase is effective for lactose intolerance—if you have trouble digesting dairy, this ingredient has solid data behind it.
For the others, the data we hold shows insufficient reliable evidence to rate them: lipase for inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and indigestion (dyspepsia), protease for any condition listed, and phytase for iron deficiency anemia, zinc deficiency, child growth, aging skin, and blepharospasm. That means we don't have enough studies to say whether they work for those uses—not that they don't work, just that the evidence isn't established in our data.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
These enzymes are generally well tolerated when you take them as directed. Lactase, lipase, and the proteases are all commonly used with a good safety record in supplement form.
That said, lipase and phytase come with a caution: if you have serious digestive conditions, use lipase only under medical guidance, and use phytase only if your doctor advises it. Rare allergic reactions have been reported—mostly from occupational exposure to powdered forms of these enzymes (like in industrial settings), including allergic rhinoconjunctivitis, asthma, and hypersensitivity pneumonitis.
Protease carries a small risk of digestive upset. For pregnancy and breastfeeding, the safety data are limited across most ingredients; lactase is likely safe in pregnancy, but lipase, protease, phytase, and several others lack enough data to know either way—talk with your doctor or pharmacist about whether this product is right for you.
