Brand IP Statement(s)
- GlycoCarn(R) (Glycine Propionyl-L-Carnitine) GPLC is a patented, highly bioavailable form of Carnitine. Carnitine is an amino acid that plays a crucial role in muscle function by regulating energy flow across cell membranes during exercise. GlycoCarn(R), particularly when combined with exercise, has been shown to increase nitric oxide (NO) levels in the blood. NO is known for its vasodilating effects, which help to enhance blood flow to muscles and vital organs of the body, especially the heart. By optimizing the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to the muscles, NO facilitates the production of ATP (energy at the cellular level) and aids in the removal of lactic acid and other metabolic waste products from muscle tissue. Clinical studies have demonstrated that GPLC can provide aerobic power, thereby supporting increased stamina, endurance, and recovery. NOW(R) GPLC also contains CoQ10 for synergistic support of cardiovascular health.*
- GlycoCarn(R) is a registered trademark of Sigma-Tau HealthScience and is manufactured under USA production patent 6,703,042 and other foreign patents. The combination of GlycoCarn(R) GPLC and CoQ10 is patented by Sigma-Tau Industries under USA patent 6,814,972. Vcaps(R) is a registered trademark of Capsugel.
