Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Full disclosure
This product has one active ingredient: hyaluronic acid at 200 mg per capsule. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring compound found in your joints, skin, and eyes — it acts as a lubricant and moisture binder.
The capsule also contains inactive ingredients (tricalcium phosphate, hypromellose, stearate, and silicate) that serve as fillers and binders.
Does it work?
Moderate evidence
The evidence for hyaluronic acid taken orally is mixed. It's rated possibly effective for dry eye and venous leg ulcers (slow-healing sores on the legs).
For aging skin, hay fever, and sexual dysfunction, the research isn't strong enough yet to say whether it works or not.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Hyaluronic acid is generally well tolerated by mouth and on the skin in most adults. However, the safety notes in our data caution that long-term safety of oral supplements hasn't been fully studied, and some sources advise avoiding oral supplements unless your doctor recommends it.
When applied topically, it can occasionally cause eczema, redness, itching, or in rare cases wound problems. Eye drops with hyaluronic acid have rarely caused eye discomfort.

No known interactions
No interactions are documented in our data for hyaluronic acid with any medications.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFully disclosed formula with some supporting evidence for its stated purpose. No medication interactions are currently documented, and safety information is well characterized.
If you're dealing with dry eyes or have a leg ulcer, this might be worth trying — the evidence leans "possibly helpful" for those two. For other uses, the research just isn't there yet.
Talk with your pharmacist or doctor before starting, especially if you take any regular medications or have a history of skin sensitivity.
