L-glutathione shows possibly effective evidence for reducing nerve damage (neurotoxicity) caused by the chemotherapy drug cisplatin. For nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, Alzheimer disease, athletic performance, and cataracts, the evidence we have isn't reliable enough to rate it either way.
