What’s inside
Full disclosure
This product contains one active ingredient: L-proline, an amino acid your body uses to build and maintain connective tissue like collagen. The capsule also contains vegetable cellulose, silica, and magnesium stearate as inactive ingredients (binders and flow agents).
Does it work?
Not established
The evidence for L-proline isn't established in the data we hold. Studies haven't generated reliable proof that supplemental doses help with athletic performance, bone health, fractures, wound healing, or osteopenia.
If you're thinking about taking it for one of these reasons, talk with your doctor about what the current research actually shows and whether it's right for you.
How safe is it?
Some data gaps
L-proline is generally well tolerated because your body gets it from food. The catch: supplement safety at higher doses hasn't been well studied.
The safety data advises caution during breastfeeding because there isn't enough reliable information on supplemental doses in that setting. If you're pregnant or breastfeeding, talk with your doctor or pharmacist before taking this — they can weigh what you need against what we know.
