Lipo HLA Ingredients & Drug Interactions
What is this page for?
First and foremost: checking Lipo HLA against your medications. The heart of this page is the interaction checker and the full interaction report — how this product’s ingredients may interact with prescription and over-the-counter medicines you may be taking.
Around that, we add a pharmacist’s high-level view of the product as a whole — what’s inside, the evidence for its stated use, how transparent the label is, and what safety data exists — so you can see the full picture in one place. It’s educational information from our licensed clinical databases and the clinical staff at HelloPharmacist — not medical advice — and we don’t sell or endorse products. Our editorial policy

What’s inside
Full disclosure
This product has one active ingredient: hyaluronic acid, a substance your body makes naturally that helps hold water in skin and other tissues. The remaining ingredients — cellulose, sunflower lecithin, rice flour, and microcrystalline cellulose — are inactive fillers and binders that form the capsule.
Does it work?
Moderate evidence
The evidence is mixed. Hyaluronic acid is possibly effective for dry eye and venous leg ulcers (slow-healing wounds in the legs).
For aging skin, hay fever, and sexual dysfunction, we don't have enough reliable evidence to say whether it works or doesn't. If you're taking this for one of those first two uses, the science gives some support; for the others, the evidence just isn't established in the data we hold.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Hyaluronic acid taken by mouth appears to be well tolerated by most adults. That said, long-term safety data for oral supplements isn't complete.
The safety information available is limited, so if you're pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a health condition, talk with your doctor or pharmacist before starting — the data on file doesn't include pregnancy or lactation safety details for this ingredient. When applied to the skin, a small number of people have reported itching, redness, or eczema; rare cases using eye drops have included eye pain.
Meds to double-check
No known interactions
No interactions are documented in our data for the ingredient in this product. That's not a guarantee that none exist, so if you take any medications, run them through the search tool on this page or ask your pharmacist to double-check before you start.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFully disclosed formula with some supporting evidence for its stated purpose. No medication interactions are currently documented, and safety information is well characterized.
This is a single-ingredient supplement backed by some evidence for dry eye and venous leg ulcers, though data for other uses is lacking. It's generally well tolerated, but long-term safety studies aren't complete.
If you're pregnant, breastfeeding, or managing a medical condition, check with your doctor or pharmacist before adding it to your routine.
