Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Full disclosure
This product contains one active ingredient: glutathione, an antioxidant your body makes naturally. It's delivered here in liposomal form, meaning it's wrapped in tiny fat-like particles designed to help absorption.
The liquid also contains water, sunflower lecithin, glycerin, natural flavors, alcohol, and stevia leaf extract as inactive ingredients.
Does it work?
Moderate evidence
The evidence is mixed. Glutathione is possibly effective for reducing nerve damage caused by the cancer drug cisplatin.
For other uses — nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, Alzheimer disease, athletic performance, and cataracts — the evidence we have isn't strong enough to rate it either way. If any of those conditions are on your mind, talk with your doctor about whether this makes sense for you.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Oral glutathione appears generally well tolerated in the short term, but we don't have solid long-term safety data. One caution: if you have asthma, inhaled (nebulized) glutathione can trigger airway narrowing and shortness of breath — this product is a liquid, not inhaled, so that doesn't apply here directly, but it's worth knowing.
During pregnancy, there isn't enough reliable safety information, so it's best avoided unless your doctor says otherwise. The same goes for breastfeeding — caution and avoidance are advised.
Meds to double-check
No known interactions
No interactions are documented in our data for glutathione. Still, if you take any prescription medications, check them against the tool on this page or ask your pharmacist before you start.
