- What is MBP and how does it work?
MBP is a newly discovered milk protein fraction. It works by directly stimulating bone building cell activity.
What makes MBP a breakthrough ingredient?
MBP encourages our bodies to use the calcium we get in our diets for healthy bone density. In four different clinical studies, participants benefited from MBP after six months, while only getting calcium from their diets. The study among healthy young women showed a significantly higher mean gain in lumbar spine bone density for MBP (1.57%) compared to placebo (.13%) [Uenishi, K., et. al. (2007) Osteoporosis International (18:385-390)]. While seemingly small, a 1.57% gain is significant, and is 12 times higher than .13%. The remaining three studies also showed significantly higher results for MBP compared to placebo.
