PM Packet Ingredients & Drug Interactions
What is this page for?
First and foremost: checking PM Packet against your medications. The heart of this page is the interaction checker and the full interaction report — how this product’s ingredients may interact with prescription and over-the-counter medicines you may be taking.
Around that, we add a pharmacist’s high-level view of the product as a whole — what’s inside, the evidence for its stated use, how transparent the label is, and what safety data exists — so you can see the full picture in one place. It’s educational information from our licensed clinical databases and the clinical staff at HelloPharmacist — not medical advice — and we don’t sell or endorse products. Our editorial policy

HelloPharmacist Scorecard of PM Packet by Nature's Sunshine
Four independent checks of what is known — a summary of the available information, not a grade of the product itself.
By FDA rules, dietary supplements can’t claim to treat, cure, or prevent disease — so labels speak in careful marketing language. We discern each product’s intended use from its name, label claims, and label statements, then grade the clinical evidence for that use. How these ratings are computed

General Statements
The human liver is one of the most versatile and complex biochemical processing plants in existence: it's the metabolic mastermind of the human body and plays a vital role in digestion, metabolism, and detoxification. In Cherokee medicine the liver is considered the "seat of healing", and in Chinese medicine it is "home of the wood element", the element of life. In Western medicine the liver is the home of the second digestion, as all of the blood from the digestive tract is shunted through the hepatic vein before being allowed into general circulation.
