The evidence supports pumpkin seed oil for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), an enlarged prostate common in aging men — it's rated Possibly Effective for that. For androgenic alopecia (pattern hair loss), interstitial cystitis (chronic bladder pain), intestinal parasites, and urinary tract infections, the evidence we hold is insufficient to say whether it works.

How safe is it?

Pumpkin seed oil is generally well tolerated when taken by mouth. The most common side effects in trials were mild — abdominal discomfort, diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting.
Anaphylaxis (a severe allergic reaction) is rare but has been reported. Two case reports describe substantial temporary hair loss and severe nausea and vomiting after eating bitter-tasting pumpkin or squash; both were tied to high levels of cucurbitacin, a natural compound in wild pumpkins — commercial seed oil should not have this issue, but it's worth knowing.
During pregnancy, there isn't enough data on concentrated seed-oil supplements to know whether they're safe, so talk with your doctor before taking this while pregnant. The same applies to breastfeeding — safety isn't well studied, so ask your doctor or pharmacist whether it's right for you.
