Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin that plays a crucial role in several bodily processes. It helps the body absorb calcium and phosphorus, which are necessary for healthy bones and teeth. It is also important for immune system function and may help to protect against certain diseases. Vitamin D is found in a variety of foods, including fatty fish, egg yolks, and fortified foods such as milk and cereal. It is also produced by the body when the skin is exposed to sunlight. Vitamin D supplements are available in a variety of forms, including tablets, capsules, and liquids. The recommended daily intake of vitamin D varies depending on age, sex, and other factors, and it is important to follow the dosage recommendations provided by a healthcare professional. There are several different forms of vitamin D available, with the two most popular being ergocalciferol (vitamin D2) and cholecalciferol (vitamin D3).

It is also necessary for the production of energy in the body and in the synthesis of different hormones. Niacin deficiency is rare in developed countries, however, supplementation has been shown to have several positive benefits. For example, it can reduce the risk of diabetic neuropathy (i.e., nerve pain) and has been shown effective for treating some types of high cholesterol (extended-release niacin is used as a prescription drug in the United States for this purpose). There is a multitude of niacin forms available as dietary supplements, including NADH, niacinamide, and nicotinamide riboside, all with different properties.

Vitamin B12
Vitamin B12, also known as cobalamin, is a water-soluble vitamin crucial for several bodily functions. It plays a pivotal role in the formation of red blood cells, aiding in the prevention of anemia. Vitamin B12 is essential for maintaining a healthy nervous system and proper brain function, as it is involved in the synthesis of myelin, the protective sheath around nerve fibers. This vitamin is primarily found in animal-based foods such as meat, fish, dairy products, and eggs, making it important for vegetarians and vegans to consider supplementation. A deficiency in vitamin B12 can lead to neurological issues, fatigue, and cognitive impairment.

Coenzyme Q10
Coenzyme Q10, also known as CoQ10, is a naturally occurring substance that is found in every cell of the body and plays an essential role in energy production within the mitochondria, which are the powerhouse of the cells. CoQ10 also acts as an antioxidant, protecting cells from damage caused by harmful free radicals. While CoQ10 is endogenous, meaning our body can produce it on its own, levels can decrease with age, with certain medications (e.g., statins) or due to certain medical conditions. In such cases, supplementation with CoQ10 may be beneficial. Additionally, CoQ10 supplements have been studied for a variety of health benefits, including improving heart health, reducing inflammation, and potentially even aiding in the treatment of neurological disorders such as Parkinson's disease. However, it's important to note that while some studies have shown potential benefits, the research on CoQ10 supplementation is still ongoing, and more studies are needed to fully understand its effects on the body.

Hawthorn
Hawthorn is a shrub native to Europe, Asia, and North America. It is a member of the rose family and is known for its thorny branches and small, white or pink flowers, which bloom in the spring. The fruit, called a haw, is a small red berry that is edible and often used in traditional medicine. Hawthorn has been used to treat a variety of conditions, including gastrointestinal discomfort, heart disease, high blood pressure, and chest pain. For its purported blood pressure-lowering abilities, it is thought to work by dilating blood vessels and improving blood flow to the heart. Hawthorn dietary supplements are typically standardized extracts of the berry, leaf and flower of the plant.

Tocotrienols
Tocotrienols are a type of vitamin E, a fat-soluble vitamin found in a variety of foods. They are structurally similar to tocopherols, the more commonly known form of vitamin E, but have a different molecular structure. Tocotrienols are found in smaller amounts in certain plant-based foods, such as palm oil, rice bran oil, and barley. Unlike tocopherols, tocotrienols are known for their potent antioxidant properties and have been studied for their potential health benefits, including reduced risk of heart disease, stroke, and certain types of cancer. Additionally, tocotrienols have been studied for their ability to regulate cholesterol levels and protect the brain from oxidative damage. Drug interactions with tocotrienols are unlikely, but should be used cautiously if you are taking anticoagulants.

Formula |
- Key Ingredients
Amino Acids: L-Carnitine assists in fat metabolism and energy production. L-Tyrosine converts to thyroid hormone and adrenaline which is produced by the adrenals in response to stress. L-Arginine is a key nutrient in promoting efficient blood flow through blood vessels that are open and relaxed. Antioxidants: Antioxidants such as Gamma Oryzanol (from rice) and Alpha Lipoic acid remove free radicals that cause damage to cells. Alpha Lipoic acid is also involved in dissolving toxic substances in the liver. Enzymes: CoQ 10 is a co-enzyme that functions in every cell of the body to synthesize/generate energy. The heart has a high energy requirement, so there is an increased concentration of CoQ10 stored in the heart. Smoking, alcohol, stress, aging, chronic illness, beta-blockers and cholesterol-lowering drugs deplete CoQ10 stores in the body.
Glandulars: Heart and adrenal glandulars provide cellular support and nourishment for restoration. Herbs: Hawthorne berries are called the “top herb for the heart” and are considered by many herbalists to be the “safest of all herbal supplements”. Minerals: The minerals support heart rhythm and function. Vitamins: The vitamins in ReGenerZyme Heart are beneficial in maintaining a healthy, strong heart, which in turn promotes healthy circulation, blood pressure, and ultimately the entire body working as a whole.
