Sibb-Zymes is a capsule containing seven active digestive enzymes designed to help break down food. Lactase breaks down milk sugar (lactose); Glucoamylase, Maltase, and Sucrase handle different carbohydrates; Dipeptidyl Peptidase-IV, Protease/Peptidase Complex, Endopeptidase, and Exopeptidase work together to break down proteins into smaller pieces your body can absorb.
The capsule itself is made from hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (a plant-based material), water, and cellulose.

Lactase is effective for lactose intolerance—the condition where you can't digest milk sugar well. For the other digestive enzymes in this product—Glucoamylase, Maltase, Sucrase, Dipeptidyl Peptidase-IV, and the protease complex—we don't hold effectiveness data in our system.
