Speedwell Leaf Extract, Dry
Veronica officinalis, commonly known as speedwell, is a perennial herbaceous plant with a history of traditional medicinal use. Orally, it has been used for a variety of conditions affecting the respiratory tract, gastrointestinal tract, liver, kidney, and lower urinary tract. Additionally, it has been used for gout, arthritis, rheumatic complaints, spleen diseases, scrofulosis, as an appetite stimulant and tonic, to induce sweating and promotion of metabolism. Veronica is also used topically for conditions such as inflammation of the mouth and pharynx.
