What’s inside
Full disclosure
This product contains one active ingredient: sulbutiamine, a form of thiamine (vitamin B1) derivative. It also includes bovine gelatin and rice flour as inactive ingredients that help form and fill the capsule.
Does it work?
Not established
The evidence for sulbutiamine isn't established. Our data shows insufficient reliable evidence to rate whether it works for diabetic nerve pain (diabetic neuropathy), fatigue, or fatigue related to multiple sclerosis.
That doesn't mean it doesn't work — it means the clinical studies we have aren't strong enough yet to say either way.
How safe is it?
Some data gaps
Sulbutiamine is generally well tolerated in the short term. One small study used 600 mg daily for up to 4 weeks without serious problems.
However, long-term safety data is limited, so we don't know what happens if you take it for months or longer. A few patients reported headache, insomnia, tremor, drowsiness, or nausea when sulbutiamine was combined with anti-infective medication, though these were rare.
There isn't enough safety data to recommend sulbutiamine during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. If you're pregnant, planning pregnancy, or nursing, talk with your doctor or pharmacist before starting this product.

The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFully disclosed formula with no established evidence rating for its marketed use. No medication interactions are currently documented, and some safety-information gaps remain.
Sulbutiamine may interest you if you're exploring options for fatigue or nerve-related pain, but the evidence for it isn't strong yet. Since long-term safety is unclear, it's best as a short-term trial under professional guidance.
