Does it work?
Moderate evidence
Sulfur is possibly effective for scabies (a parasitic skin infection) and dandruff. For acne, allergic rhinitis (hay fever), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and common cold, the evidence isn't strong enough to rate it — we don't have reliable data showing it works for those uses.

Topical sulfur up to 10% strength is generally well tolerated, though it can cause skin dryness, irritation, and itching. Oral sulfur — including this liquid concentrate — is less studied and carries different risks.
Taken by mouth, sulfur can trigger diarrhea and, in rare cases with very high doses or underlying kidney or blood sugar problems, a serious condition called metabolic acidosis (a buildup of acid in the blood).
