What is this page for?
First and foremost: checking Uriniary Harmony against your medications. The heart of this page is the interaction checker and the full interaction report — how this product’s ingredients may interact with prescription and over-the-counter medicines you may be taking.

What’s inside
Full disclosure
Urinary Harmony has two active ingredients. D-Mannose is a simple sugar that your body doesn't fully absorb — most of it passes through to your urine.
Hibiscus is a flowering plant. The product also contains inactive ingredients: cellulose and rice extract, which are fillers and binders.
Does it work?
Leans against
D-Mannose is rated likely effective for carbohydrate-deficient glycoprotein syndrome type 1b, a rare genetic condition. For urinary tract infections (UTIs), however, the evidence rates it as possibly ineffective — meaning the data don't support its use for that purpose.
The effectiveness of Hibiscus isn't established in the data we hold.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
D-Mannose is generally well tolerated in the short term, but long-term safety data are limited. The most common side effects are bloating, diarrhea, and nausea.
Diarrhea is more likely if you take a single dose over 200 mg per kilogram of body weight. We don't have enough reliable safety data to recommend D-Mannose in pregnancy, so it's best avoided unless your doctor advises otherwise.
Safety while breastfeeding hasn't been well studied, so caution is advised if you're nursing.
Meds to double-check
No known interactions
No interactions are documented for the ingredients we could check. Since we hold no data on Hibiscus, ask your pharmacist to verify it against any medications you take.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFully disclosed formula with graded evidence leaning against its stated purpose. No medication interactions are currently documented, and safety information is well characterized.
Urinary Harmony may be worth considering if you have carbohydrate-deficient glycoprotein syndrome type 1b under your doctor's care — that's where D-Mannose has solid evidence. If you're taking it for a urinary tract infection, the data don't support that use.
