🩺 Clinical
This is a topical lotion sunscreen containing zinc oxide, an inorganic UV filter commonly used in sunscreen products to help protect skin from ultraviolet radiation. Zinc oxide functions as a broad-spectrum sunscreen active ingredient that reflects and scatters UV rays. This product is marketed as an over-the-counter monograph drug, meaning it is made according to FDA's established rules for sunscreen products rather than through an individual application review. It is applied to exposed skin areas before sun exposure.
