Clinical
Zicam Cold Remedy Rapidmelts is a homeopathic oral tablet containing zinc acetate anhydrous, zinc gluconate, and echinacea angustifolia. In homeopathic practice, zinc compounds and echinacea are traditionally used to address cold symptoms, though homeopathic products are marketed based on traditional use rather than clinical testing. This product is not evaluated by the FDA for effectiveness. Homeopathic remedies are prepared through serial dilution and are classified as unapproved homeopathic drugs.
