Clinical
Sun Defense Minerals (Fair) is a powder product applied to the skin that contains zinc oxide and titanium dioxide as active ingredients. These minerals are commonly used in sunscreen products to help protect skin from ultraviolet (UV) radiation by reflecting and scattering UV light away from the skin surface. This is an over-the-counter monograph product, meaning it is marketed under the FDA's established rules for sunscreen ingredients rather than as an individually reviewed drug application.
