Clinical
This is an oral capsule containing calcium polycarbophil, an over-the-counter laxative product sold under FDA's established monograph rules for this category. Calcium polycarbophil is typically used to relieve occasional constipation by absorbing water in the intestines and forming a larger stool mass that encourages bowel movement. The product is labeled as stimulant-free, meaning it works through a different mechanism than stimulant laxatives.
