🩺 Clinical
Xpect Sting Wipes is an over-the-counter topical swab product containing benzocaine 6%. Benzocaine is a local anesthetic that is typically used to numb minor skin irritations and stings. This product is marketed under FDA's OTC monograph rules for topical anesthetic products, rather than as an individually approved drug application. The swabs are applied directly to affected skin areas where temporary numbing relief is commonly sought.
