Clinical
Wegmans Kids and Sport Broad Spectrum SPF 50 is an over-the-counter sunscreen lotion applied to skin to help protect against ultraviolet (UV) light from the sun. It contains four active ingredients, avobenzone, homosalate, octisalate, and octocrylene, which function as UV filters. These chemicals are commonly used together in sunscreen products to absorb and scatter UV rays across a broad wavelength range, which is why the product is labeled "broad spectrum." This is an OTC monograph product, meaning it follows FDA's established safety and effectiveness standards for nonprescription sunscreens.
