Clinical
This is a topical lotion sunscreen containing titanium dioxide, a mineral UV filter commonly used to protect skin from ultraviolet radiation. The product is formulated as an over-the-counter monograph drug, meaning it is made and marketed under FDA's standard rules for sunscreen products rather than as an individually approved application. Titanium dioxide typically reflects and scatters UV light away from the skin surface. The lotion form is intended for application to the face and body.
