🩺 Clinical
This is a topical lotion foundation that combines cosmetic coverage with sun protection. The active ingredient octinoxate is a chemical sunscreen agent typically used to absorb and filter ultraviolet (UV) rays from the sun. As an over-the-counter monograph product, it is marketed under FDA's established rules for sunscreen ingredients rather than through individual product approval. The lotion is intended for application to the face to provide both color coverage and broad spectrum SPF 25 sun protection.
