Clinical
Silicea is a homeopathic tablet taken by mouth containing silicon dioxide as its active ingredient. In homeopathic practice, this product is traditionally used to address various conditions, though homeopathic products are marketed based on historical use and tradition rather than evaluation by the FDA for effectiveness or safety. Silicon dioxide in homeopathic formulations is prepared through serial dilution methods characteristic of homeopathic manufacturing. This is an unapproved homeopathic drug product.
