Clinical
This is a topical emulsion (liquid foundation) that combines ultraviolet light filters with cosmetic coverage. Ensulizole and octisalate are organic UV filters typically used in sunscreen and sun-protective cosmetic products to absorb ultraviolet radiation and help prevent sunburn. The product is formulated as an OTC monograph sunscreen, meaning it follows FDA's established rules for over-the-counter sun-protective cosmetics rather than being individually approved through a new drug application.
