Clinical
Banana Boat Sunscreen Lip Balm is a topical stick product marketed as an over-the-counter sunscreen under FDA monograph rules. It contains four active UV-filtering ingredients: avobenzone, homosalate, octisalate, and octocrylene. These chemicals are commonly used together in sunscreen products to absorb ultraviolet radiation across both UVA and UVB wavelengths, helping protect skin from sun exposure. The product is formulated to a broad spectrum SPF 45 rating.
