Clinical
Duradry Sweat Minimizing Gel is a topical gel applied to the skin that contains aluminum chloride hexahydrate as its active ingredient. Aluminum chloride is commonly used in over-the-counter antiperspirant products to help reduce underarm sweating by temporarily blocking sweat gland ducts. This product is marketed as an OTC monograph drug, meaning it follows FDA's established rules for antiperspirant ingredients rather than being individually reviewed. The gel form is typically applied directly to affected skin areas.
