Clinical
Inverness Ear Care Antiseptic is a topical solution containing benzalkonium chloride, an antimicrobial agent typically used to help reduce bacteria and other microorganisms on the skin and ear canal. This product is an over-the-counter monograph drug, meaning it is marketed under FDA's established rules for antiseptic products in this category rather than as an individually approved application. Benzalkonium chloride functions as a broad-spectrum antimicrobial commonly found in ear care and wound-cleaning products.
