Clinical
This is an over-the-counter tablet taken by mouth that combines aspirin and caffeine as its active ingredients. Aspirin is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug typically used to reduce pain, fever, and inflammation. Caffeine is a central nervous system stimulant commonly included in pain-relief products because it may enhance the effect of pain relievers. This product is marketed under the FDA's OTC monograph rules for combination analgesics rather than as an individually approved application.
