Clinical
Green Defense daily mineral sunscreen is a lotion applied to the skin to help protect against sunburn and other effects of ultraviolet (UV) light exposure. The active ingredient is zinc oxide, a mineral UV filter that sits on top of the skin and reflects and scatters UV rays away from the skin. This product is marketed as a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30, meaning it blocks a range of UV rays. It is available over the counter under FDA's OTC sunscreen monograph rules.
