Both ingredients are commonly used to help protect skin from ultraviolet (UV) light by reflecting and scattering UV rays away from the skin surface. This product is marketed as an over-the-counter monograph drug, meaning it follows FDA's established rules for sunscreen products rather than being individually reviewed.
