🩺 Clinical
BioPure Antibacterial Hand Wipes is an over-the-counter monograph product supplied as pre-moistened wipes for topical use on the skin. Each wipe contains benzalkonium chloride 0.12%, a quaternary ammonium compound commonly used in antibacterial hand and personal hygiene products. Benzalkonium chloride is typically used to reduce bacteria on the skin surface during cleansing. This product is marketed under FDA's established rules for over-the-counter antiseptic wipes rather than as an individually reviewed drug application.
