🩺 Clinical
This is a topical sunscreen emulsion containing zinc oxide, an inorganic UV filter commonly used to help protect skin from ultraviolet radiation. The product is marketed as an over-the-counter sunscreen under FDA's monograph rules for sunscreen products, rather than as an individually approved drug application. Zinc oxide functions as a physical sunscreen agent that reflects and scatters UV rays away from the skin. This emulsion formulation is applied to exposed skin areas to provide broad-spectrum sun protection at SPF 30.
