Clinical
Australian Gold SPF 30 Lip Balm is an over-the-counter sunscreen product in stick form applied directly to the lips. It contains three active UV-filtering ingredients (avobenzone, homosalate, and octisalate) that are typically used to absorb ultraviolet radiation and help protect skin from sun exposure. Petrolatum, a moisturizing agent, is included as a base to soften and protect the delicate lip area. This is an OTC monograph drug, meaning it follows FDA's established safety and effectiveness guidelines for sunscreen products.
