Clinical
This is a topical cream sunscreen containing zinc oxide as its active ingredient. Zinc oxide is a mineral UV filter that is typically used to help protect skin from ultraviolet (UV) radiation when applied to exposed skin. It functions as a physical barrier that reflects and scatters UV rays. As an over-the-counter monograph product, it is marketed under FDA's established rules for sunscreen ingredients and formulations rather than through individual product approval.
