Clinical
LidoMedix is a topical patch containing lidocaine, menthol, and camphor. Lidocaine is a local anesthetic typically used to numb skin and reduce pain sensations in a localized area. Menthol and camphor are counterirritants commonly found in topical products and are thought to produce a cooling or warming sensation on the skin. This is an over-the-counter monograph drug, meaning it follows established FDA rules for its product category rather than being individually reviewed.
