Key points
- There is no drug interaction between Allegra (fexofenadine) and DayQuil.
Hello and thanks for reaching out to us! It's always a good idea to look into whether or not certain drugs interact with one another.
The good news here is that DayQuil and Allegra are safe to take together. There is no drug interaction between them.
In fact, there are a variety of DayQuil products on the market, and Allegra is safe to take with all of them. DayQuil products include:
- DayQuil Cold & Flu
- DayQuil Severe
- DayQuil HBP
- DayQuil VapoCool
- DayQuil Honey
Allegra contains the antihistamine fexofenadine. None of the DayQuil products listed above contain an antihistamine nor do they interact with any antihistamine.
It is important to note that NyQuil contains an antihistamine (doxylamine), and generally should not be taken with other antihistamines, which includes Allegra.
Thanks again for your question and please feel free to reach out to us again in the future.
