In case control studies, an increased risk of sudden cardiac death was observed with the use of oral domperidone, particularly at doses greater than 30 mg/day and in patients older than 60 years of age. If coadministration is necessary, domperidone should be initiated at the lowest possible dose and titrated with caution.
