Although limited data are available regarding the effects of vaccination, including secondary transmission of infection from live vaccines, vaccination with live vaccines, or use of a therapeutic infectious agent (eg, Bacillus Calmette-Guerin [BCG] bladder instillation), is not recommended in patients receiving golimumab therapy, as clinical infections, including disseminated infections, may occur. If possible, update immunizations before therapy initiation¹³².
