Increased exposure of cycloSPORINE and paritaprevir
Interaction Deep Dive
Concomitant use of cycloSPORINE and paritaprevir may result in increased plasma concentration of paritaprevir. Additionally, increased cycloSPORINE concentrations may occur. When initiating paritaprevir therapy, reduce the cycloSPORINE dose to one-fifth of the current dose and make further modifications based on cycloSPORINE blood levels. If paritaprevir is discontinued, resume the original cycloSPORINE dose based on cycloSPORINE blood levels. During concomitant use, monitor for increased adverse events associated with cycloSPORINE, including frequent assessments of renal function2, and monitor for adverse effects of paritaprevir.
