6-bromo and Panitumumab

We checked these two against our interaction database. Here is what we found.

No Known Interaction Found

We did not find a documented interaction between Panitumumab and 6-bromo in our sources. This does not guarantee that the combination is completely free of risk — there is often limited research on supplements and herbal products, especially around drug interactions.

Worth understanding: our licensed dataset holds no drug-interaction record for 6-bromo at all — not against Panitumumab, and not against any other medication we track. This verdict therefore rests on the absence of any recorded data, not on research that looked at this combination and found nothing. We cannot rule an interaction out.

If you decide to take both, the practical routine is simple: add one new thing at a time and note the date you started it. If the combination is going to disagree with you, it usually shows in the first days to a couple of weeks — and a start date turns “I’ve been feeling off” into something a pharmacist can actually work with. Do not stop a prescribed medicine on your own.

Always talk with your pharmacist or doctor before making changes to your medications or supplements, particularly if you take several medications or have an ongoing health condition.

This page covers 6-bromo only. If you take other supplements — a multivitamin, a sleep aid, something for joints — the Panitumumab page lists 1 supplement it has a documented interaction with, worst first, each one explained.

By severity: 1 minor.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Panitumumab page

“Panitumumab (Vectibix) is an infused antibody used against certain colorectal cancers, and its supplement interaction file is about as short as they come. A single ingredient appears on it, American pawpaw, and even that is rated minor, with the evidence suggesting the interaction is unlikely to occur at all.”

About 6-bromo

What is 6-bromo?

  • Lowering estrogen (aromatase inhibition)
  • Raising or supporting testosterone
  • Reducing estrogen-related side effects during steroid or prohormone cycles
  • Bodybuilding 'post-cycle therapy' attempts

6-Bromo (often sold as 6-bromoandrostenedione) is a synthetic steroid-derived compound marketed as an aromatase inhibitor to lower estrogen and support testosterone, mostly within the bodybuilding community. There is very little reliable human research to confirm it works or is safe, and as a hormone-altering agent it carries real risks. It is banned in sports and should not be used without medical supervision.

6-bromo: dosing

There is no established or medically recommended dose for 6-Bromo. It has not gone through the kind of testing that would let anyone confidently say how much is safe or effective.Products vary in strength and quality, so if a label gives an amount, that does not mean it has been proven safe.

About Panitumumab Injection

What Is Panitumumab Injection Used For?

Brand name: Vectibix

Vectibix (panitumumab injection) is used to treat metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) in adults. It is approved for patients whose tumors have a specific genetic profile — either wild-type RAS (no RAS mutations in KRAS or NRAS) or a KRAS G12C mutation — as confirmed by an FDA-approved test before starting treatment.

For wild-type RAS mCRC, Vectibix may be used alone after prior chemotherapy has stopped working, or in combination with FOLFOX chemotherapy as a first-line treatment. For KRAS G12C-mutated mCRC, Vectibix is used in combination with sotorasib in patients who have already received fluoropyrimidine-, oxaliplatin-, and irinotecan-based chemotherapy. Vectibix is not appropriate for patients with RAS-mutant mCRC (except in the specific KRAS G12C combination setting) or for patients whose RAS mutation status is unknown.
