6-bromo and Tazemetostat Hydrobromide

We checked these two against our interaction database. Here is what we found.

No Known Interaction Found

We did not find a documented interaction between Tazemetostat Hydrobromide and 6-bromo in our sources. This does not guarantee that the combination is completely free of risk — there is often limited research on supplements and herbal products, especially around drug interactions.

Worth understanding: our licensed dataset holds no drug-interaction record for 6-bromo at all — not against Tazemetostat Hydrobromide, and not against any other medication we track. This verdict therefore rests on the absence of any recorded data, not on research that looked at this combination and found nothing. We cannot rule an interaction out.

If you decide to take both, the practical routine is simple: add one new thing at a time and note the date you started it. If the combination is going to disagree with you, it usually shows in the first days to a couple of weeks — and a start date turns “I’ve been feeling off” into something a pharmacist can actually work with. Do not stop a prescribed medicine on your own.

Always talk with your pharmacist or doctor before making changes to your medications or supplements, particularly if you take several medications or have an ongoing health condition.

About 6-bromo

What is 6-bromo?

  • Lowering estrogen (aromatase inhibition)
  • Raising or supporting testosterone
  • Reducing estrogen-related side effects during steroid or prohormone cycles
  • Bodybuilding 'post-cycle therapy' attempts

6-Bromo (often sold as 6-bromoandrostenedione) is a synthetic steroid-derived compound marketed as an aromatase inhibitor to lower estrogen and support testosterone, mostly within the bodybuilding community. There is very little reliable human research to confirm it works or is safe, and as a hormone-altering agent it carries real risks. It is banned in sports and should not be used without medical supervision.

An interaction check asks whether these two react with each other — it does not ask whether 6-bromo is a good idea for someone in your situation. Here is what our 6-bromo record says about it on its own.

6-bromo: dosing

There is no established or medically recommended dose for 6-Bromo. It has not gone through the kind of testing that would let anyone confidently say how much is safe or effective.Products vary in strength and quality, so if a label gives an amount, that does not mean it has been proven safe.

About Tazemetostat

What Is Tazemetostat Used For?

Brand name: Tazverik

Tazverik (tazemetostat) tablets are used to treat adults and patients aged 16 and older with metastatic or locally advanced epithelioid sarcoma (a rare soft-tissue cancer) that cannot be completely removed by surgery.

Tazverik is also used in adults with relapsed or refractory follicular lymphoma — meaning the lymphoma has come back or stopped responding to treatment — either when the tumor carries a specific EZH2 gene mutation (confirmed by an FDA-approved test) after at least two prior treatments, or when there are no other satisfactory treatment options. Both uses were approved based on response rates, and continued approval may depend on results from ongoing confirmatory studies.
